See thats just the thing it is so hard to try to thing like 7-10 yrs down the line for when I get out of JAG. I have no clue where I want to work. I am from NY but I have worked in DC and loved it so I really have no clue. I do know I like the national security law program at cuse, I love the upside at fsu and psu and OSU is an amazing school that I would go to in a heartbeat if they gave me a scholarship... SO I am still on the fence

Will the military pay for any of your schooling? If so- then got to OSU

In order to gain residency for a state do you need to commit to sit for their bar?

No.

I'm actually going to amend my response here and say it depends on the state. For some states they want to see an intent to work there postgraduation so they would expect you to switch your driver's license, not take vacations outside of the state, sign up for that state's bar, etc.
