Average $$$ spent per student

Post by abitaman6363 » Sat Apr 09, 2011 8:50 pm

I ran across a post the other day (can't locate it now) that mentioned one or two schools and the average amount of money the school spent per law student. Does anyone know where you can find that information, specifically for the T-14?

Thanks!

I think they include this information on the USNWR rankings? If so, I can get it for you tomorrow.

Any schools in particular you're looking for or do you want the entire T-14?

Thanks for the reply. They do include it in the UNSNWR rankings. I believe it's entitled "Expenditures Per Student" in their data.

I was hoping for HYS and Michigan if you could find it.

Thanks Knock!

Also curious about Duke if you don't mind.

No problem. I'll just post the entire T-14 tomorrow.

I can't find the data on the website. Any idea where it could be? The only place I could find any mention of expenditures per student was in the explanation of how they calculated the rankings.

I suspect this not something they want to make easy to find. This should be the next step of the law school transparency project. We need to know how much is going towards: (1) scholarships given to increase rankings (2) money spent on excessive salaries (3) actual, legit expenditures.

Yeah, I looked all over and couldn't find it. You're probably right and they're omitting it on purpose.

The only public place I have seen the data (2010) is in the second graph here:

And here (I believe) is the 2011 data:
