New Orleans is consistently one of the two or three rainiest cities in the US. It averages about 5 feet a year. Don't come to New Orleans to escape the rain...

From the tone of your post it sound like you'd rather go to Loyola and be in NOLA. Both schools probably don't have very good job prospects.

What's a DH?

I picked Loyola; The cost of living in Seattle is just too high. Also, Seattle is arguably a more desirable city (no knock on NOLA, but it really is), so I suspect you would have stiffer competition for jobs in Seattle. Just my 2 cents...
