NYU vs HLS

The dilemma: Full tuition at NYU vs HLS with a significant need-based grant (~25k/yr)

I realize this is one of those "good problems" to have, but that doesn't make it any easier :)
I'm leaning toward HLS, but if people have any thoughts either way I'd be happy to read them!

I'd take HLS with that aid unless you only want nyc biglaw. If so, probs nyu. Otherwise, HLS not even close.

Jealousss... go to NYU so I can have your spot at HLS! Haha but on a serious note great options- and I'd personally go with Harvard in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I agree.
NYU was more impressive than I was expecting, but I don't think I can turn down Harvard - especially with generous aid.

The only reason why you should take NYU full ride is if you plan to work for some international based NGOs that make you ineligible for HLS' LRAP. Though, Congrats on the awesome options!

I don't think the part about int'l NGOs being ineligible is correct. From the HLS website: "LIPP is available for Harvard Law School JD Program graduates who work in any full-time job for a government, nonprofit [501(c)(3)] or academic organization in the USA, or in an overseas equivalent."
