What to do...

Hi all,

I got accepted to UT-Austin with in-state tuition (i'm OOS), but am not sure if that's what I want to do. I have taken the LSAT 3 times so far. The first two times I took it, my parents paid for it and I did very little studying...I got pretty crap scores. I studied for it again last year, and was consistently testing in the 173-176 range. However, the week of the June test, I got a sinus infection and completely bombed the test- 167. I do not think that score is indicative of my potential. I will be eligible to take the LSAT again this fall, and was wondering if that's something that I should do...I will have 2 years of work experience for next cycle.

My goal is Big Law (don't care where); though public interest is also semi-appealing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

TLDR: accepted at Texas; 167/3.82; Can take LSAT for 4th time this fall...should I shoot for a higher score if big law is goal?

Thanks for the reply. I am heavily leaning to do that, and appreciate the feedback.

Retake, move to India for 6 months, come back in complete tranquility, and go to Harvard the next fall.

Retake. Get a decent job for next year. Go to NU or Cornell if you don't break 170. Otherwise, tell the T6 I said hi.
