Duke v. Fordham

I know this seems like an obvious choice, but I love new york city and want to be there or in DC later in life. I got into duke with a 1/3rd scholarship and into fordham with a slightly larger scholarship (though not by much). Is Duke clearly the better choice academically/job search in the future? Does Duke, being a T14 really push it so far above that its hard to pass up? It seems like New York school grads always seem to do fairly well in the job market. Any advice/thoughts would be helpful.

Duke actually places more grads into the NY market than any other market

Not even close. You'll be out of NYC for three years, enjoy the weather in Durham, then head back to NYC. thread/

This is a waste of a thread, and a no-brainer to boot. DUKE.

If you had a full-ride or more substantial scholarship at Fordham, then this would be tougher. But $ at a T14?? and the same amount at Fordham?? It's obvious.

I feel like sometimes kids make these threads just to show that they got into a school like Duke... which is fine, because I'm sure I'd do the same thing IF I GOT INTO DUKE GOSH DARNIT DUKE WHY DIDN'T YOU ACCEPT ME DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU TAKE ME BACK.
Go to Duke. And hey kid, congratulations.
