Top Law Schools

Ok so I took the LSAT back in October, studied literally 0 days. I'm assuming I should retake the LSAT but there is a chance that my GPA (which is currently 3.2) will drop to a 3.1 by my graduation if I wait to apply to law school until next year. Is it worth it? And if I am able to bring up my LSAT, will I be able to get in to any decent schools with a 3.1 GPA (from UW Madison)? Currently I am accepted to Denver and Loyola Chicago, but with little $. My goal is to practice environmental law.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, I just need some advice about what schools to shoot for. Feel free to move it to a more appropriate board.

keep your grades up- and study for the first test admiinistration after you graduate. You are at a fantastic starting point, so a little more studying will help you get more money and/ or into better schools. make sure to get your applications in asap ( all complete before thanksgiving)

3.1 = 3.2 no difference

Dropping below 3.0 would be an issue for some reason. Otherwise its not a big deal.
If your very first take without any studying is 162, you could fairly easily score a 170+. I didn't take a diagnostic test or anything, but I'm sure it would have been below 160 and I scored a 166 on the real thing, and have scored consistently above 170 on PTs. Loyola's a good school, if you really want Chicago, but you have the potential to get into incredible schools, possibly with money (think WUSTL$$$, IUB$$$$, or possibly UVA)
