BU or GW no scholarship

I am undergrad in DC. Was accepted to BU and GW with no money. I would like to work in a large law firm in DC or New York after I graduate. Assuming one is worth the debt over another, which is the better play?...opinions please.

BU is certainly cheaper tuition and CoL wise...but it probably has no access to the DC market comparably. However, I have seen a LOT more BU grads in NYC than GW grads...

No scholarship = neither without mitigating factors (IP, savings, parental assistance, etc.)

Not worth the assumption.

Understand that you are taking a risk with sticker at either school but if I had to choose i'd pick BU

DC is a super competitive market and GW is not even close to the top dog in the market.... Boston seems more insulated and BU is one of the two top schools in the area (H not included) so i think it is probably better/safer and Boston > DC IMO

What % of BU grads gets a job where they can live comfortably after paying 25k a year towards loans ITE?

BU places 30% into biglaw (namely in Boston, duh). For GW, its 25%. Cracking the NYC market is probably a bit easier for GW grads, but really, the real issue here is placement and paying back debt, not fancy dreams that are a huge gamble. Take the lesser of two evils, in this case BU, since biglaw placement is 20% higher (currently).

Between those two options, I'd definitely do BU. Better placement and graduate with less debt. But being in DC isn't super important to me.

You seem to know...why don't you tell us? It is at the worst 70% assuming absolutely noone outside of biglaw can.,
