Not necessarily. BC/BU > Fordham, even for NY, minus the large price tag.FiveSermon wrote:If you got into BC then you could have gotten into Fordham which is much better if you want to work in NYC.
This is not true. BC has a huge alumni base in New York (undergrad and grad) and they are very very active. People in the area are familiar with the school and my experience has been that people give it much more credit/respect than the ranking would suggest.MrAnon wrote:Its a reputable school that people have heard of but they just won't be very familiar with.
BC/BU does not > Fordham for NYC. I don't know where you got that from...BCLS wrote:Not necessarily. BC/BU > Fordham, even for NY, minus the large price tag.FiveSermon wrote:If you got into BC then you could have gotten into Fordham which is much better if you want to work in NYC.
I agree that such a recommendation seems like a stretch. I'm always happy to tell people about how BU places well outside of New England (and BC does as well), but no would it justify turning down Fordham (assuming equal price) if one only wants to be in NYC.FiveSermon wrote:BC/BU does not > Fordham for NYC.
