As of now, I was just accepted inti UT Law, but have to wait to get my admissions packet to see if I got any scholarships/grants (which seems highly unlikely...i'm not even sure how many/often they offer them)

but even at that, UF is offering half tuition, and FSU is offering full.
I'm currently a UF undergrad, but I'm not sure how I feel about staying in the Gville another three years.
I'd like to work with immigration and international law, but not sure which school is best for those.

Is Texas worth it if I don't get any scholarship offers? Paying $44K a year for tuition is alot compared to paying $0 or $8K

All that being said, GO GATORS!

Did you see the new employment data that came out with US news?

If not, buy it and look at the "careers" section for each school.

Go to Texas. UF is garbage. FSU is just as bad.

That employment data is shit, pure shit. It's basically made up.

But TCR is Texas.

I'm wondering where they get these career numbers from...
I just attended visits to FSU and UF, and they both boosted far higher job placement numbers than USN had...

on a side note, does UT have much of a reach outside of Texas? I'm not sure where I'd like to practice after graduation, and while Austin is apparently amazing - I don't think I'd like to live in Texas forever.
