This is a theoretical question for me, since I'm still waiting to hear from (and totally not counting on) Stanford; and I don't have the RTK, either, though I'm a finalist (there are ~60 of us competing for ~20 scholarships).
But, hypothetically, suppose you're choosing between the RTK full ride at NYU or Stanford at sticker or near-sticker (maybe you'll get some need-based aid, but expect to pay at least close to full price).
What do you do and why?
Please explain the why!

I think I'd go Standford unless I had a serious interest in NY/PI or both.

I don't know much about Stanford's LRAP, but since RTK has a very long public service timeframe then I would be inclined to pick Stanford if they will forgive your loans. This will give you more flexibility overall.
Good luck on Stanford!

It's hard to say; the money gives you a little bit of comfort in not knowing that you don't have any loans to pay back but then you are DEFINITELY limited to going into public interest. If you are 100% CERTAIN you want to go into public interest, i would probably take the RTK; but if you have even an inkling that you might want to do something else you should probably head to Stanford.
Also, don't undervalue seeing the sun. I miss it.
