Does Penn at full price top GULC with 20K a year?

Yea, the probably would depend on market of preference? (Although I can't think of a market where GULC would offer a noticeable advantage)

Penn unless you are looking for DC. Even then it's close but personally I would try to minimize my debt as much as possible.

Umm.... Isn't this a bit contradictory?

FWIW, my officemate doesn't regret turning down Penn for GULC.

Very marginally.

These types of questions are always heavily dependent on one's personal goals.

If your only goal is big-law, then maybe. The fact of the matter is that you could miss big-law at either place. I would take the $60k in insurance. I'm not convinced that Penn's placement trumps Gtown's that heavily. Full disclosure: I'm a Georgetown 3L. Also, I summered at a NYC firm with a bunch of Penn students and they all had better honors than me listed in their bios, but we had the same job and pay. :D

Penn is the safer choice in a shrinking job market, in my opinion.
