I am still waiting on ND,WUSTL, and W&M.

Here is my current list of schools and scholarships. I want to stay on the East Coast or possibly get into the energy business in TX/WV/or KY after practicing law for a few years.

Scholarships are spread out over 3 years

If you pulled, the 45k at Emory, you should get 60k to ND. ND seems to be more generous. I got around the same to both, but only because Emory happened to like random things about my app that other schools did not think were significant.

You should also get the same 45k to W&M (I got that 1 too), but recently withdrew so there's 1 more. WUSTL, I don't know. It depends on your LSAT. I'm >170 but have been waiting for a very long time.

Emory w/ 45K - A very solid option.
IU-B w/ 120K - Great almost free law school, but you might have trouble getting back to the east coast.
SMU w/ 76K - Bad option given Emory and IU-B.
Minnesota w/ 60K - Good school, but won't get you back to the east coast.
UGA w/ instate tuition all 3 years - How much is in state?
Wake Forest w/ 66K - Good option, but Emory is better.
Case Western Reserve w/ 96K - Worse than IU: B, same region and smaller scholarship.

I am trying to decide if Emory is worth 45K more than Wake Forest. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

UGA in state totals about $16k every year, plus the CoL is cheaper than Emory.

If you're ok working in Dallas, SMU with $$ is a great option. If not, it's a no-brainer: Go to Wake.

And no, Emory is not worth 45k more than wake unless you're dead set on working in Atlanta.

With your options, i'd go to IUB.

Well, none of your schools are going to do a good job of getting you a good job on the east coast. They are all going to be regional. While Emory is the best school you got into, I don't think it is worth that much more than the others, considering they all have very limited biglaw possibilities. So, considering everything is regional at these schools, none are in the region you want, and none have very good biglaw options, i'd minimize my debt.

I already have multiple law jobs for after school do to family ties so I can always fall back on those if need be.

I would be paying around $27K + COL at Emory v. 14K + COL at Wake. Anyone have thoughts between these 2?

If you already have job offers, not dependent on where you go or how you do, i'd DEFINITELY minimize debt. If you are trying to get biglaw first and then you'll fall back on family ties, I think emory is the best you can do and is probably worth 45k extra.

Emory and Wakes BigLaw Placements look like they are exactly the same?

Emory 21% and wake 15%. It's not a huge difference but it would probably be worth 15k a year for me. But again, my advice is to take a full ride.

I voted for SMU only because you mentioned TX in your OP and none of the other places. Go to school where you want to work (or where you want to work if you didn't have your connections). All of these schools are regional.

One last bump. I think WUSTL and W&M are going to be WL.
