Scholarship vs Ranking

Ok so I am really struggling on trying to decide on taking the money from OU or going with the higher ranked schools, particularly SMU. I have no preference for Oklahoma or Texas as I have good contacts in both states. I am personally getting a loan for school however the loan will not be difficult to get and I may even be able to pay it back at my choosing due to special circumstances.
At Oklahoma and Texas Tech (the only reason I am considering it) I have guaranteed jobs upon graduation in the oil and gas field.
3 yr Tuition:
Oklahoma - $84,000
Texas Tech - $51,000
Baylor - approx $153,000
SMU - approx $180,000
UofH - $114,000

If you have a guaranteed job that you want upon graduation, why not take the school with the most scholarship?

A guaranteed job is still not a job for life. A better school might provide more mobility down the road. As for these schools in question... no idea.

I doubt the difference will be significant enough to justify turning down a bunch of money. I'd hazard that down the road your contacts and work experience will make a much larger difference in hiring than the name on your degree.
