Top Law Schools

I am unsure of what I really want to do, but I love business and law, so I plan on mixing the two. Don't really care where I live at this point.

Can't imagine any option besides taking the $ from Michigan...if you get off the WL at UChi maybe go there.

edit: or if UVA forks over some dough that could work too, but Michigan is a peer of/better than every school on that list besides Chicago

You could try to get into the the dual MBA program at Duke which would be a great place to get both degrees from.

I wouldn't take Duke or UVa unless they pony up equal or more money than Michigan.

Thanks for the suggestions. What do you think about Notre Dame? I hear its more of a regional school, but I also know there alumni network may be stronger than most.

This isn't much of a discussion if you don't care as long as you practice Business Law. UMich is a no brainer. Why are you having a hold up?!

Is Chicago worth sticker if I get off waitlist?

this poll is worthless because many of your T14 options are waitlist and wait to hear. A question for your thought is how hard is it to get into Wharton if you are a law student?

I am in at UVA, but I am waiting to hear on scholarship.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, but that's my point. Since UVA is peer to Mich, it will be more worthwhile to compare them after you know COA at each. Do you think you can get into Wharton if you were to get off Penn waitlist?

You keep asking, so I'll answer!

The alumni network is great--they are spread throughout the nation (but somewhat thinly: NDLS is a small school) and tend to stay very connected to the school--but the choice between UMich at $30K and ND at $45K should be a no-brainer.

It wouldn't be a disaster for you to come here (and we'd love to have you), but it would be a mistake.
