UCLA vs. UC Hastings ($) for NorCal

What are the chances of getting back to SF from UCLA? Should I choose Hastings if I'm commited to NorCal? I'm planning for a career in IP law, since I have a strong technical background. Should my IP interest influence my choice?

That's 30k total, right?
I think UCLA is the right pick here but I am not 100% sure on that.

If you were attempting public interest or government clerkships Hastings would be a serious consideration, but even with 30k at Hastings, UCLA will open far more doors for you in the bay area law firms. 30k is what you could make at an IP BIGLAW firm in the bay area in the first 4 months.
