New Rankings

When the news rankings are released next week, should that be the basis of selecting a law school, all other things being equal? I'd imagine last year's rankings would become obsolete, no?

This would be beyond meaningless.justadude55 wrote:LOL I meant like if IU: B overtook ND or UGA overtook Emory kind of thing.
I didn't, but of course I had to check. Just to be safe.Alex-Trof wrote:Bad choice of name for this thread. I thought new rankings came out early this year.
It would have to remain that way for 10 years, and even then...ND>IU...Emory>UGA.bk187 wrote:This would be beyond meaningless.justadude55 wrote:LOL I meant like if IU: B overtook ND or UGA overtook Emory kind of thing.
I disagree I think UCLA/Vandy/UT should be out in a cathg. that is not only regional. They are not as highly presit. but they have stayed in the same spots for some time. (yes I am hating on USC)Justathought wrote:No, USWR rankings are quite far down on the list on things that will influence my decision. T14 is always the same schools, they just swap positions a little, and after that its mostly a regional game weighted against scholarship opportunities.
When are they going to rank eligible bachelors/bachelorettes? Else how will I know whom to marry?kk19131 wrote:US News rankings are the most important factor in choosing many things: high schools, hospitals, lawyers, colleges, grad schools, cancer doctors.
I live and die by their rankings.
