So my choices have come down to this. I would like to work in the South but preferably not in Florida, although its not a deal breaker. I have my eyes on Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, ect. Which would you choose and why?

With scholarship money subtracted, these would be the net costs of attending each school (not including living expenses, i.e. just tuition):

UF: $34,200

Miami: $40,254

UGA: $42,444

Wake: $51,690

strike Miami from this list. Shouldn't be in contention.

Where do you have ties to?

If FL, then UGA.

IF GA, then UF.

I asked because you said you didn't want FL - I assumed you were from there. If not, just ignore this.

I honestly feel like people should attend law school in major metropolitan areas - that way they can have awesome internships during the academic year. As a result, I think you should consider this when deciding between schools.

UGA, because its the best offer in the south you have apparently, outside of offers in a state in which you do not wish to practice.

UGA is your clear choice here. Charlotte and Atlanta being on your original list make it an easy decision.

One note, you could also defer a year, work in GA, and save yourself 60k+ once you were an in-state resident. Best of luck!

Drop Miami and Wake and base your decision off the UGA-UF basketball game tonight.

UGA unless you really want Charlotte/NC then I'd choose Wake.

TICR. Although I think he already has instate tuition waiver if his tuition is 40k for 3 years.
