Narrowing Options

I'd like to see how TLS would rank or eliminate current options. Also, which of the schools that have yet to respond are worth attending at sticker? I'm relatively debt averse, am more concerned with finding gainful employment than location, and have no UG debt.

Here are my acceptances thus far:

Georgetown
George Washington
WUSTL
Iowa-128k
Indiana-Bloom-120k
Illinois-90k
Notre Dame-56k
William and Mary-63k
Minnesota-60k

I'm also waitlisted at Vandy and UCLA. Outstanding applications at Duke, Cornell, Michigan, Texas, BU, and USC.

I'd do GULC unless you could save about 100k by going to GW.

GULC at sticker? I thought that kind of advice was punishable by death around here haha.

Surprised you got WL'd at Vanderbilt and UCLA. Our numbers are similar (my GPA's higher, though) and I got accepted to both with $$$ from UCLA ($$ at Vandy TBD).

Georgetown is the only school potentially worth attending at sticker, although I wouldn't do it.

I think you'll get one of Duke, Michigan, or Cornell. Maybe even money at Cornell. Not as cardinally sinful as sticker at GULC.

With those numbers, see how the rest of the cycle shakes out and come back.

While I generally expect you'll have additional acceptances and/or $$, I think ND, William and Mary, IU-B, and MN are all clearly off the board unless you have some really compelling reason.

I crossed off IU-B and William and Mary and will likely be withdrawing shortly. I might try to negotiate more money at ND and UMN before I check them off.

I'm also waitlisted at Vandy and UCLA. Outstanding applications at [Duke, Cornell, Michigan]-(probably good options compared to anything else at sticker, and maybe best options with money), Texasunless $ or preference to work in TX), [BU, and USC] (unless money).

I don't even know what that means, but if you don't get money @ GW in your initial acceptance packet, you're most likely get any at all save for need-based aid.
