Just visited some friends at GULC

Post by Veyron » Mon Jan 17, 2011 4:35 pm

2Ls walking around with dead looks in their eyes, virtually EVERYONE struck out at OCI, including some very highly ranked kids. I never really bought the "GULC is the tail end of the T-14" thing but I'm reconsidering. I would chalk it up to ITE but Penn isn't anywhere near as bad (although still bad obvi).

This has been your pessimistic PSA of the day.

What were their thoughts about the New York Times unmasking the shenanigans of the career services office in this (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/09/business/09law.html) article?

The prostitute in the West Wing went to Georgetttown, so it must be good.

Not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if the National Enquirer outsells the New York Times & that the Times is trying to catch a bit of that sensationalist market.

Come on now, she wasn't a prostitute....she was a high end call girl, you know, for politicians and athletes. Huge difference.

And I thought she went to GULC as well, but I could be mistaken.

Also my apologies for horrible use of "quote" tool

Dood, I'm only reporting what I saw. If you want to give us some counter-examples (complete w class rank and other relevant factors), that would be great.

Did the GULC hooker portrayed on West Wing work as an attorney too or just as a hooker?

Perhaps reading Billed Hourly will help with your seeming confusion.

She went to GW. She was more high end escort than hooker.

I don't think GW Law ranks highly enough to be producing high end escorts. Call girls at best.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
