No luck on December but still have options, What to do...

Post by JD=Doctor » Fri Jan 07, 2011 12:28 am

I under performed in Oct and now in Dec, heartbroken! ... But now to move on

I received a Full Ride at Cordozo, $87K from loyola LA (im sure i can negotiate higher), Almost full ride at pepperdine

W/L at UCLA
Waiting on USC's decision

I didnt apply to too many schools (with my subpar dec score my apps to cls and nyu are almost a mootpoint)

i want to end up in LA >> i dont mind working in NY for a couple years.

What should i do?

if given the option should i go to USC at Sticker, Dozo` Full ride (possible stips?) Loyola $$$ (maybe full)

thanks

Retake a third time, reapply. Or, what about UCD, UCH, UCI at full or close to it scholarship?

do you want to work in Cali? If so, I'd take USC at sticker. But get in first.

Nowhere close to full scholly.

You're probably looking at 10k-30k, max, at UCD and UCH (probably closer to 10k if you haven't even applied yet).

UCI guarantees at least 1/3 tuition scholarship to every student admitted. I don't think your numbers warrant additional scholarship money, but it's always possible.
