Top Law Schools

Some schools I am considering:

Indiana-Bloomington
UNC-Chapel Hill
UT-Knoxville
George Mason
Florida
Alabama
Wake Forest

What are my chances here, and where else should I consider? These schools are based mostly on location and median numbers. I am most concerned about employment rate, salaries, and debt, but I want to keep an open mind for now. I do live in TN in case that makes any difference.

You've taken the LSAT only twice, right? Retake it again, wait till next cycle.

Unfortunately three times now... I always PTed in the low 170s, but things have repeatedly gone poorly on test day. It is what it is at this point.

Other useful info: I'm not URM. I do come from a poor family, worked nearly full-time all through school, my mother died 18 months ago, and my dad is in prison. I plan on having one hell of a personal statement. I am unsure as to whether or not this will make much difference though.

General advice is to look at those schools' graphs on LSN and see how your numbers stack up.

Also I would say with those numbers I'd probably go to school for as cheap as possible, either one of those schools if it's cheap (i.e. UNC) or a worse school with a large scholarship if you can get stipulations removed.
