Yes, really. You'd be at/above both medians, that makes you valuable to them.

Very hard to say. It might well be one of MVP, depending on the rest of your application and the timing and everything; somewhere in the T20 range for sure though. The lowest you'd have to go is WUSTL, which would surely throw gobs of money at you if you applied, but I think you could probably get a full scholly higher in the 10-20 range.

No full ride at Penn with those numbers (and I'd assume V). Probably 1/4-1/2 based on this year's class. To get our largest scholarship (which is about 30k shy of full tuition), you need to have clear admit #'s for H.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought HYS never gave out full rides right off the bat period.

I thought they only gave them out under special circumstances... no? I really have no idea. If someone knows, I'm curious. I know Columbia does give full rides.

As for what you'll actually get with those numbers? My short and simple advice is to blanket the schools you are interested in, maybe even as low as UT-Austin, or maybe even into the WUSTL territory. And afterwards, just take the offer that is most appealing to you.

Obviously you're going to get into some really good schools with those numbers, but money is not a given. And the question you ask is for full ride, so that's what I'm answering. So that said, seriously... just blanket some of those schools. The few hundred dollars you pay now are negligible in comparison to knowing what your options are. And in your case, it's not even gambling on an outcome. You're surely going to get into nearly all of these places and get chunks of money at most of them.

No. HYS are very generous, but you'll still be taking out at least 25K a year in loans (and that's if you don't take the full COA allowance) unless you have some sort of outside scholarship/fellowship.

Having dealt with 2 of those 3 financial aid offices, you can get close to a full-tuition scholarship, but you won't quite get there (even with substantial need).

OP: I had close to your numbers, slightly-worse GPA. Highest full-ride I received was Minnesota (tuition + living), but I got significant money from Chicago on down, and got need-based assistance at 2 of HYS.

Was your LSAT the same kretzy?

$15k each year at Michigan. Same numbers last cycle. So 1/3.

$9500 + in state for UT, this year. So that's about $29k off of $49k.

I know you can get into a Top 14, you should call all of them to see if they offer Scholarships, full ride or 50%-75% schollies.

If they offer them, apply and see what happens, if all else fails, apply to these Top 14 schools like everybody else ande take out loans, if you manage to get into HYS, you won't really have to worry for your future as long as you stay in the top 50%.
