So many requirements. Questions to answer for scholarships, plus an interview (optional)...
Anyone finish this long admission process?

I thought the Vandy interview was more for the benefit of the applicant. Am I wrong on that? If I want to get in, should I be interviewing? Also, isn't that additional scholarship application just for the most prestigious ones? You can still get merit aid, right? I might have screwed all this up. Damn.

Yeah, I finished all this stuff in early October. I don't believe the interview is that big of deal as far as getting admitted goes, but I do tend to think interview opportunities should be taken advantage of because they can be pretty informative. Further, if you're a borderline applicant, they could put you over the top. On the flip side, if your numbers are considerably higher than the typical applicant, interviews are a way to demonstrate genuine interest (i.e., avoid YP).

For Vandy, you automatically get considered for scholarships of up to half-tuition. The additional scholarship application is for the Law Scholars Merit Awards, which are full tuition plus a stipend.
