Where do you want to practice? This is a bit broad of a question

Weak GPA but you should be good at most of those except UCLA. Have you thought about ED to UVA? Might be worth a shot. And also try for Vandy.

Not even a prayer at ED to UVA without a 170. It seriously wouldn't even be worth the $12.

In at all other than UCLA and perhaps USC.

This whole post is just rediculous. Obviously you havent paid any attention to UVA's ED process. No shot at UVA,Mich, or Vandy sorry.

OP, you made yourself a good list for where you want to practice. I would apply to all those you listed and maybe ED to UCLA just for the hell of it. probably no chance, but it can only help

UVA does seem to like accepting ED's...

i'm purposefully waiting till december to possibly ED to UVA.

I wouldn't call it "rediculous." Vandy is not out of the question. And one person who applied to UVA ED this cycle with similar numbers on LSN was WL so I would not say its pointless and a waste of $12. OP wouldn't have a great shot but there is nothing wrong with having a super-reach or two.

id def apply to vandy. Try your hardest on getting into vandy. Vandy is much better in terms of placement than compared to schools in the GW/WUSTL/Emory range.....

Vandy is an auto-ding with their medians (3.72/169).

UVA likes ED with people who have at least one high number (you are below both medians) so you are definitely out.... Like I wouldn't even waste my money if I were you. Vandy won't let you In either. Ed to ucla would be your best not wasted ED

Not to be a downer (maybe I was just unlucky) but I had similar stats to you and was rejected at USC/UCLA and WL'd at W&M. Make sure to have some backup schools on that list as you're probably right on the bubble for the rest of them

As your numbers twin 2yrs out of UG, with an interest in west coast (and mtn west), I'd 100% agree with this assessment...

Alabama will almost certainly through buckets of cash at you with those numbers, so if you'd like to avoid debt it might be a good fit.

I applied with the same numbers last year, to most of those schools except USC. I was waitlisted ED at UCLA and waitlisted at William and Mary. I wrote the special essays for W&M too so I'm not sure why I didn't get in, although lots of people with generally high numbers for W&M were waitlisted last year. I ended up at UC Davis and I'm enjoying it for the most part so far. I think that's a great list of schools. USC might be a stretch, but probably still worth the application if you really want to go. I really like Emory and UNC, hopefully you get in. I'm not too familiar with UNC's process but you should be a lock at Emory. Best of luck!

IMO you're a lock at at least Wake, UGA, and Emory (prob w/ $), probably others, so I think you have enough 'safeties'
