If hypothetically every school in the Top14/Top 20 (your choice) were of equal prestige ( equal histories, public perception, etc) which school would you choose to go to? Answers can include but are not limited to considerations regarding faculty, facilities, student life, weather etc

Most people prefer big cities and warm weather, so I would say UCLA. Strong runners-up are Columbia, NYU, and Stanford.

Berkeley.

It just seems so chill.

UCLA seems generous with scholarship money. I think its one of the schools that could pry me away from attending a T14, but I am unsure if this would be smart in the long run.

No question that Stanford is a clear winner for me. Small class size, ideal location, top-tier faculty. That school has everything.

LA is great too, but access to Tahoe gives Stanford the nod.

Very tough one. I thought about going ED to Chicago just for the chance to meet Richard Posner so yea Chicago if I could get in.

Cambridge is still a place to be. Boston is a lively city with many universities, has 4 seasons, has a rich history, and has decent sport teams.

Stanford. No doubt about it.
