Hey everyone! I'm a Californian and ideally would like to work in LA or the Bay Area after law school. Can anyone where I would find out about which T14/T20 schools besides the obvious ones in CA place particularly well in those markets/or just tell me? I assume HY are portable to CA...do CCN have as much value there as they do in east coast markets?

Heard that Michigan is not bad for California placement, although I don't have anything to back it up.

You know the obvious ones but I will spell them out anyway: Stanford, Boalt, UCLA, USC

After the T14, USC and UCLA, UC Davis and Hastings are your best bets. I'd even take USC and UCLA over some of the lower T14 (like Cornell and GULC) and I'd take Hastings and Davis over UT, BU, GW, etc for CA, especially NorCal.

I would say HYSCCN you have an amazing shot in Cali. Michigan and UVA i ahve heard also place really well if you have ties to the state (looks like you do). Then usc/UCLA no schools below those place well in Cali unless they are located in the state.
