3.6 UG/174 (with a prev 158)

I'm just getting a sense of where I can apply and stand a good chance of getting in. Money would be icing on the cake, but not necessary by any stretch of the imagination.

I got a 3.6 with a major in an uncommon and difficult foreign language and Econ at a top 10 liberal arts college.

I'm 2 years out of college. Work experience: Unique in where they took place (hot to white-hot conflict regions) and the fields that they were in (national security and economic development) but the actual duties performed were a little bit more mundane (think glorified secretary). I like contracts (in the "temporary job" sense) and to move around, so my CV comes off as slightly unstable.

The only place that I can claim residency is Illinois.

Got a 158 senior year of college. Retook a year later and actually prepped for it with some degree of seriousness. The result was a 174.

I vaguely want to stay away from New England for a variety of personal reasons, but living in New England is not a problem for me if I have to. I would be ever so slightly inclined to the Midwest and California (the state).

I'm not dead set on anything.

That's quite the LSAT improvement.

You should get into at least one of CCN.

Here's where you should apply at minimum:
Columbia
NYU
Chicago
Penn
Michigan
Virginia
Northwestern
Duke

If I were you I would just apply to the to the entire T14 minus YHS and then add UCLA, Vanderbilt, and Texas, but that's mainly to optimize scholarship money and make sure to have safety nets with scholarships.

With that said, you're in decent shape for CCN or MVP with some money.

Person with similar stats (I think like a 173 and ~3.5) and a retake with a similar low score that almost got shut out of the T14 until finally getting accepted at Northwestern.

That seemed more along the lines of a fluke result more than anything though.

You have a chance if you have excellent softs, but even then it's a slim one.
