Should I transfer to BC from Chicago-Kent?

Assuming that I make top 10% grades, would it be worth it to transfer to Boston College from Chicago-Kent? I was accepted at BC originally, but took a full ride at Chicago-Kent. I want the highest paying job possible when I graduate. Which would be better: top of class at Chicago-Kent, or top 50% of class from BC?

I would stay at kent w/ the full ride if i were sure to graduate at the very top. Wouldn't feel great payin to go to BC and get median though...

Does your scholarship have any strings attached and would you rather work in Boston or Chicago?

I would def transfer. You are going to need a better degree to get a job in this market. BC is one of the few schools outside of the T14 with elite job placement statistics.

I'd take top 10% + full tuition at Chicago-Kent over median at BC.

Also 9 times out of 10 you're not going to be able to transfer. Even if you end up being able to, you should definitely look higher than BC.

Because I was accepted at BC originally, I figured that it would be my best shot at moving up. I don't know if top of my class at Kent would put me in a better position to transfer higher than BC. What do you think?

Also, no string attached whatsoever to the scholarship and I don't care whether it's Boston, Chicago, or anywhere else. Thoughts?

Don't do it...

Don't transfer out of Top 10% at a T1 for anything less than HYS or CCN...

It's better to be one of the top dogs at a T1 than a transfer at a BC or something.

There are plenty of people who transfer to schools like WUSTL or even higher and end up regretting it..

Apply to the T14 and BC. See where and if you get in, and what they offer in regards to academic aid. Does not hurt to apply if you have the money to do it.
