Is Howard worth going to for a white male? The reason I ask is because I get the sense that the law firms that hire from there are primarily looking for minority hires- do you think this is accurate and therefor I should avoid it? I am looking for honest opinions please.

Yea that's pretty much a given. However, if you were to place at the top of your class especially with so many law firms already going there (great exposure), I don't see how it would affect you negatively. As a matter of fact, that actually wouldn't be such a bad idea (if you were able to place high enough), but then again I don't know anything.

I think it probably serves as a typical DC TTT for the white kids that go there, though it's much better than that for AAs (as you well know).

That's pure speculation, but speculation's all you're ever gonna get b/c Howard isn't going to release a "breakdown of employment and salary by race" any time soon.

Answer to OP's question: No, going to Howard as a whitey will offer no more benefits than any other T3.

I know I am so disappointed. I just do not feel like retaking the LSAT. BTW- speaking to that- the June Logic games I thought were tough this year, and the reading was fairly difficult- IMHO

What're your stats? I know you don't want to hear it (trust me, I really do), but waiting another year is a good idea even if you *weren't* going to improve your stats; if you underperformed on the LSAT, it really might be a great idea to prep your ass off and retake. Logic games are the easiest section to improve upon.

Even planning on transfering--which is far from a sure thing--costs way more, as most schools give $0 in scholarships to transfer students.
