Other than the U of South Carolina and T14, what schools would place well there? Vandy, Georgia, UNC, Wake, and Emory?

Yes.

Do not go to Charleston School of Law under any circumstances. The ones you listed are fine.

That makes sense.

maybe you should look at law firm websites and see where most Charleston attorneys attended law school...or check Martindale. I can almost guarantee you that nobody on TLS knows anything about the Charleston SC legal market.

The vast majority went to USC. For the most part, it's more about networking and who you know there than prestige.

I grew up in Charleston and went to USC for undergrad. The Charleston market is tough right now but the city is great. I know only a handful of Charleston Law grads with decent jobs. Most of my friends with good jobs in this area were either close to the top of their class @ USC or graduated from respectable regional schools like W&M, Wake, UGA. I am looking schools that place well throughout the Southeast for more options, though I would definitely move back to Charleston if offered a job.
