Top Law Schools

I am working on the assumption that I probably will not get the LSAT score to get into NYU or Columbia, so have begun looking through the other NY schools (and those in DC and Philly.) I know CUNY advertises itself as heavily as public interest, but do people think that Fordham/Cordozo are better bets in terms of curriculum/employment etc? Would a good public interest ranking be Fordham/Cardozo/CUNY and not forgetting NY Law School tagged on the end? Thoughts would be much appreciated.

CUNY is dirt-cheap. They're well-established in NYC PI and are probably the best choice short of Columbia or NYU for PI in NYC if you're certain that's what you want. Fordham might be worth considering as well, but Cardozo probably is not, and Brooklyn, St. John's, etc. are definitely not.

Good LRAP doesn't exist outside of HYS, CCN and B, don't bother looking.

I'm surprised that you say that good LRAP doesn't exist outside YHSCCNB. First of all, hasn't B has radically changed their LRAP, and you have to do IRB first before you do LRAP? This makes their rules really complicated, and it is hard to determine the implications. Second of all, a bunch of schools have raised/are raising their minimum annual income for LRAP eligibility. Isn't it between$45,000 and $50,000 for pretty much all of the T14 now (which is to say at that level or below, the school pays %100 of loan payments)? I'm not denying that Yale's is best, but the others now seem really similar, except B.
