University of San Diego V. University of Arizona, full-ride to both. Please advise...
-Cost of living isn't a factor
-San Diego Native:
Pros: good quality of life, familiar with area
Con: easy distractions (despite not living at home)
-Would like to work in California afterwards
-Interested in Business Law
I visited both law schools and I like them both. I think both have great traits, maybe U of A has an edge in quality of education.
Sounds a little cheesy, but an influential factor I'm considering is that I think I'll perform better living out of my hometown.
I was hoping some people can share their opinion. Thanks!

Yea, that is a big thing to consider. Does that imply both schools are very regional. Do you think either school has a better chance of securing employment in cities other San Diego, especially Los Angeles.
I'm also thinking of bar passages and I do see the advantage of attending a CA school.
I really like U of A's small entering class size/general law school size and I liked how motivated their career office is, at least towards summer employment it seems...

I knew several attorneys in L.A. that went to USD. Nobody that went to UofA. Of course, who I know is not indicative of the market, but I imagine USD travels to L.A. more easily than UofA.

Why would you go to U of A if you want to work in CA? U of A has limited placement in CA. So, unless you have connections in CA that will allow you to get a job regardless of where you go to school, you probably won't make it to CA from U of A. Stay close to family and your hometown, where you think you'll perform better. You have a full ride to a great school, in USD. Go there.

What part of CA do you want to work in?
If you don't want San Diego, you may want to consider re-taking the LSAT to get into a stronger CA program that places better in the exact CA market you want.
As for UA, they did just add a new Business Law program but the school primarily places in AZ unless you do very well or have CA connections.

If you want to work in SD: SD.
If you want to work in LA: SD, possibly retake and reapply.
If you want to work in NorCal: retake and reapply, possibly SD.
