Uconn (Patent) Law or Stay in Engineering??

I was accepted into Uconn's evening division. I get up to $60K tuition reimbursement from my employer if I stay part time in law school, full time in current job.
I am interested in patent law specifically, but have read very conflicting reports on my prospects after graduating. I am already in a well-paying enjoyable job in aero engineering. I like what I do now, but am looking for next step in my career. I'm concerned a career in patent law (with a Uconn degree) may not be a salary boost at all.
Will I only have good job prospects if I am in top 10% of my class? Should I try to transfer to a higher ranked school, going full time? Should I stay in engineering?
Any advice?
