Okay, the choice is between:

Buffalo with no $ = $17,577/year

NYLS with no $ = $44,850/year

Please include actual reasons in your responses to help make a well informed decision. Thanks! :)

If your friend doesn't mind the possibility of having to work in upstate NY for a few years after law school, I'd say Buffalo. It's much, much cheaper and despite being T3 this year (it goes in and out T2 year-year), it has a better overall rep than NYLS.

I'm going to end up overusing this picture, but seriously.

Fordham isn't worth 45K/year. You really think NYLS is?

NYLS= not worth (with COL) over 200k in debt. No way in hell.

Some people will pick a t14 over harvard or yale because they don't want the 150k + debt.

Please for the love of all that is holy, pick buffalo.

Yep Buffalo here is a no-brainer. There is no other reasonable argument possible.
