Live in CA so would be travling from either place often... comments on education, experiences, ect.

Whichever one is where you wanna work after graduation, go there.

If you have no preference, I like both schools and you just need to research and see which one you like better. It won't really make a different in terms of employment prospects, I don't think.

True - I think i would like to end up in California eventually...but I am open to other locations. I have not been to phili yet

Temple DOMINATES the Philadelphia legal market, since most Penn grads leave. It's not NYC or DC, but it's still the fifth largest metro in the US and has great size. Does Las Vegas even have a legal market of any size? Plus, isn't there unemployment rate is like 15% right now. Temple is definitely a regional school, but they do have grads all over the place and amassive alumni network since they've been around forever. For job prospects; go Temple.

Thanks for you opinion. UNLV does have a legal market...and bc UNLV is the only law school in Nevada (aside from being a good law school) it pretty much dominates the legal market there. Because it is the only law school the students (in my observation) have a much more hands on experience because of the market and local support from Las Vegas/Nevada lawyers.

I think it will be hard to get a job in california out of either school without prior connections or a job waiting for you. I think UNLV might have a better chance, but that is total speculation on my part.

As with most decisions like this, the question is: where do you want to work?

Answer that and the rest should be easy.

Ideally I would like to work in California...SF or LA

If you are looking to stay in the CA area post graduation, then UNLV would be the best option I guess, but I fear that either option is too far removed from the CA market. You'd best be getting your network on during those frequent visits.
