Michigan $$$ v. Columbia 37.5k

Great position to be in ... can't decide. I'm so so so debt averse, and Michigan seems to have so many things that I like -- clinics, professors, etc., in a place close to home. But Columbia is well, Columbia, and the prestige and location and opportunities just seem too great to pass up. But whereas at Mich I'd graduate with maybe 64k in debt, at Columbia it'd be more like 174k. So while Columbia might get me the job to pay off the debt, I wouldn't have the debt to begin with really at Michigan. Also, interested in clerkship/biglaw, but both seem fine in markets I like (Chicago/NY).

Thoughts? I'm panicking, can't decide, help!

Michigan... I'd consider dinging Michigan if it were Michigan $$$ v. Harvard/Yale 37.5k, though.

Michigan. In three years when all of your classmates are stressing about $150k+ debt, you will be glad you took the money and ran.
