Fordham-Illinois-Hastings/Davis-GWU

Post by Rory1987 » Thu Apr 22, 2010 1:21 am

Are these schools backdoor ways to enter into the big four markets (CA, NY, Chicago and DC) at a decent salary, or are they just TTTT? Illinois and Davis seem to be on the rise, while GWU is back to where it belongs. However, Hastings and Fordham appear to be on the decline. Are they the best options for someone who can't crack the T17? Discuss

Year to year ranking shifts aren't the most accurate indicators of a school's prestige. I think Hastings and Fordham continue to present good opportunities relative to their peer schools. None of the schools you mentioned are TTTT, they're all respectable and should perform decently (not greatly) even ITE.

I'm not sure what you mean by Hastings/Davis. I don't make posts asking people to comment on Yale/Pepperdine.

TBF, 13 places and the same market is more like UVA/W&L.

There are GW '09 grads from the top 25% who don't have work yet.

Any other schools like these five? W&M for DC perhaps?
