UT Austin vs Vanderbilt for LLM

Hello all!!
New in this forum. Which of the schools do you recommend for LLM?
I am don't want to stay in the US but I intend to apply for an SJD to be a Professor. Which of the schools do you think has a better shot in terms of academia and general admission to PhD programmes?
I am interested in the energy sector and international law and I know that UT is strong in this field. Vanderbilt also has some very interesting modules in these fields.
Any views are appreciated.
