Can you be more specific what type of law you want to practice? I would say that the only cases GW or BU would make sense is if

a. you want to work for the government/public interest
b. location isn't a HUGE deal for you, and you wouldnt mind working in DC/Boston/Ny
c. you are interested in IP law (GW)

The "plan" is to land a job, eventually, for the US Attorney's Office but ideally the LA district office. And I know USC has several professors who worked at the LA US Attorney's Office so that seems like a big plus ...

I dont know... I think i just need some reassurance before i commit to $200K in debt when I could mitigate that...
USC is a great school.

Debt sucks, but if you work hard and have a bit of luck, you'll be fine.

of you want to work as a US attorney, id say GW is probably the best choice. Most access to the DOJ and other agencies as well as a lot less debt.

OH, btw, your debt is mitigated by the federal loan forgivess program. you should look into it =D
