Top Law Schools

I am seriously considering pursuing a law-public policy dual degree. Although I am still unsure about exactly what my career path will be, I currently have a strong emphasis on regulatory matters, with a significant preference for federal and energy-related matters.

Out of all the schools I have applied to, the best schools at which I have been accepted in both programs are NYU, Georgetown and UT-Austin. I am not yet committed to working in any of the schools' respective regions or cities (though I wouldn't be adverse to working in them, either).

With regard to price, I have a slight scholarship for the public policy program at Georgetown ($5000/yr, two years), while UT-Austin is MUCH cheaper than the other two options ($9000/semester scholarship, three semesters; in-state residency). I have received no scholarship money for any of the law programs.

I was wondering if any fellow board-members had a preference as to the best option out of these three.

Did you apply to the Harvard Kennedy School and/or Woodrow Wilson at Princeton...NYU also has dual degree programs with both of those.

I did not apply to Princeton, but I did apply to Harvard's Kennedy School. Got a flat rejection for my efforts.
