$, $$, $$$, $$$$
Don't realy know what to think when I see these. should I assume 0-1/4 tuiton, 1/4-1/2 tuition, 1/2-3/4 tuition, full tuition? What is the standard?

Re: $, $$, $$$, $$$$
I have a feeling people are using is rather loosely like: $ - small scholarship, $$ - medium, $$$ - full ride or close....
But if there is a standard I would like to know it too, so I don't embarrass myself when discussing scholarships.

I had a feeling that Candy wasn't really talking just about money when she was making those offers to me. Sounded sorta like a hooker name anyway...TipTravHoot wrote:$$$$$ stipend + blowjob, only known to happen once in TLS history

I think it is kind of like the cost of a restaurant on something like yelp or opentable.
$ - little money
$$ - About half
$$$ - More than 2/3
$$$$ - Full ride

dang, who's giving $80k/year for full rides?Cupidity wrote:then full tuition would be like $$$$$$$$extempore88 wrote:I thought it was $/$10,000/year in scholarships awarded.
fwiw, I've always thought of $=10k/year as well... $$$$=40k-49k/year which would denote most "full rides"

Re: $, $$, $$$, $$$$
THIS IS THE STANDARD
$ = 1/4
$$ = 1/2
$$$ = 3/4
$$$$ = 100%+
Round to the nearest value. This is tuition only.
