FINAL Decision Time
I'm making my final decision here. My options are:
Notre Dame, with a 15k/year scholarship
GW, with no scholarship
WUStL, with no scholarship
Villanova, with a full scholarship
Money is not a huge issue. I think I'd like to do BigLaw for a few years but eventually transition out to the business world. I also don't know where I want to work, but I would like to be in a major city. I guess my biggest question is which school offers the most portable degree, both geographically and professionally?

Notre Dame is what I'm leaning towards. The only thing holding me back is the fact that it's in the middle of nowhere. I'm definitely a city person and spending three years in northern Indiana kind of scares me.

I'm surprised you got no money from WUSTL. They offered me far more money than ND. FYI, I still would have taken ND over WUSTL.

I voted for ND because you said that is what you were leaning towards. Go with your gut.

I was surprised that I didn't get anything from WUSTL, too. But again, I am trying not to base this decision on money. It's pretty insignificant in the long-run.

ND has a pretty good alumni network, and they're only 90 minutes from Chicago, which would be the major city where you can find big-law positions. ND is probably going to climb in the rankings this year, if that makes you feel any better.

It looks like I'm going with Notre Dame. After thinking about it, BigLaw placement plus exit opportunities outweigh location.
