Top Law Schools

Unfortunately I did not get into The Ohio State University. However, I have the following opportunities:

Ohio Northern w/ $25k scholarship
Akron w/ $17k scholarship
Cleveland State w/ $8k scholarship


I'm waiting to hear back from Case, Cincinnati, Toledo, and Pitt.

Ideally, I would like to practice law in Ohio (or Western PA). I either want to do criminal law and work as a prosecutor or do something in health law. Case would be my top choice, but if I get accepted there and receive little to no scholarship money, it will be tough to turn down ONU's near full-ride. Akron's scholarship offer is a scam as you need to be in the top 10% of your class to keep it.

So I turn to you for some help. I'm leaning toward ONU because of the scholarship money and the good vibes I got from my two visits there. With that stated, is that strong decision?

Out of those three, I'd definitely pick Cleveland State.

If you feel certain that you want to practice either health care or prosecutorial law, then check out each law schools' course offerings, clinics & placements in those practice areas.

I'd take Akron. After all, LBJ24 is from there.
