Top Law Schools

I ultimately want a career working for a government agency (local or federal) or lobbying and drafting legislation for non-profits. I plan to stay on the East Coast. I am not adverse to working in the private sector for a few years to gain experience and gain money to pay of debt. Thanks for your input.

I vote Vandy. I don't think the $ difference is enough to sway things in Emory's favor.

Out of curiosity, would it change anyone's position if I said I wouldn't work in the private sector after graduation, or is Vandy such a better school that the 35k debt difference is nothing.

I have a 1L friend who is doing well at Emory, found a good paying summer job, etc. But I talked to him about this choice and he seemed to think Vandy offered better prospects and was probably a bit more laid back than Emory in terms of atmosphere.
