As of right now, unless I can get better scholarship offers from Case or IUIndy, I am staying in Pittsburgh and deciding between attending Pitt or Duquesne. I got a bigger offer from Duquesne, it will cost me only 10k a year. Pitt will cost me 16k a year. It isn't much of a difference and I really can't decide between the two. Any input?

For 18K more, it's a no-brainer to pick Pitt in this situation.

I'm in the exact same situation, and I'm choosing Pitt. It was a tough call. Don't believe the above posters, the difference between Pitt and Duquesne is not that big.

The blue is probably true. Duquesne far outplaces its ranking within the city and Allegheny County. Beyond the PGH metropolitan area, Pitt's name is far stronger. In the Pittsburgh area, the name is stronger.
