Top Law Schools

KU w/partial tuition scholly or LSU with no scholly... what would you pick & why??

Where do you want to work?

I got waitlisted at Kansas in at LSU. All comes down to where you want to live. LSU has Civil Law so if you are gun shy about that you might not want to look at it. Otherwise how do you feel about gumbo vs tumble weeds?

Why no love for either state? Rather be in a bankrupt state in where the public universities recently saw a 30 percent tuition raise in one year? But to each their own I suppose.

How much money do you save with Kansas? The difference in rankings between these schools doesn't mean much. Once you get outside the top 20 or so most of the rest of the top 100 are regional powerhouses of about the same magnitude so I wouldn't let the USNWR decide this for you. Baton Rouge seems like a cool place and you have the gulf shores pretty close by. Tell us how much money you are saving going to Kansas.

It sounds like you just picked these two completed based on the rankings. This is not smart. Do not go to either school if you don't want to work in Kansas or Louisiana.

You haven't been on these boards a lot, have you? Don't go to either of these law schools unless you are comfortable with working in the state.

There is no amount of money to drag me to Kansas. At least LA has New Orleans and gylfshores, Biloxi and Houston aren't far. Geaux tigers!
