Both at full price. Interested in big law in FL, NY or DC. Looking to do corporate work possibly real estate. Which school provides the better opportunity to reach these goals?

I think they are very similar, but for biglaw (especially in DC) I would give GW the edge. W&L does have some advantages. Cost of living is much cheaper. But I think the connections you could potentially make while living in DC would make the cost worth it.

GW. But perhaps you could negotiate a little bit of money out of W&L?

I wouldn't be so quick to conclude that GW's more portable, at least with respect to Florida. A lot of folks from Florida go to W&L, and a W&L degree will get you anywhere you want to go in the Southeast. I'm not sure GW travels that well in the southeast, but maybe I'm wrong.

Neither is worth anything close to full price. Have you been paying attention to the law market?

Well I am in the very fortunate position that my parents have set aside money for grad school for several years so I am able to get the best education I can, regardless of the price. That said, ignoring NY at the moment, would UF give a better shot at big law in Florida over GW? I'm talking greenberg traurig or other big firms in brickell
