I agree. I think people just assume KY is better because the USNWR rankings say so, and KY's medians are a bit higher. At the end of the day, they are really just state schools that are good in their respective region. True but from what I have heard must Tulane grads leave the state. Again if you can get in state tuition after the first year, got to Kentucky. The one edge I'd give to KY is that it is the best law school in its state while LSU is #2.
I actually really like cajun food, and I love the culture down in Louisiana. I have family and friends in New Orleans so I have visited there numerous times. But I also really like Kentucky.
