The Awkward Silence is killing me... I am a reverse splitter (great GPA, great softs, lower LSAT)... I am holding my breath on Stanford... I must have went complete in November... Wow! Anyone else feel like this cycle will never end?

Got very similar numbers to you. Same situation. I'm not too worried though.. I'm mentally prepared to retake LSAT and apply next cycle so its all good.

Since when is a 170 considered a "lower LSAT"? Be happy about your stellar numbers and I'm sure Stanford will be giving you a congratultory call in the very near future.
Good luck on your cycle.

You think 170 is a great score, untill you have it and realize how shitty it is.... you can come up with an analogy for it on your own...

Sorry, you're not going to convince me that scoring in the 98th percentile is a "shitty" score. But, like I said, good luck. I hope you get in.

Yes!
Though I'm pretty sure it's only awkward from my "sitting on the subway, eyes darting to the right at the cute guy (Stanford) every 3 seconds holding my breath waiting for him to notice me" perspective.
I don't think it's awkward for Stanford. I'm pretty sure Stanford's just sittin' there readin' his newspaper completely unaware of my existence.
Either that, or he already looked over, though "Hah! No chance in hell!" and went on with his life.

Wow, hats off to ya for having the balls to wait another year... There is no frickin way I am going through this process again... I'm going have a nervous breakdown. I am also waiting on Yale (I got rejected a Harvard) but that's an even longer shot...

Isn't a 3.9/170 right at Stanford's medians?

Its not that he doesn't like you, he just knows he can do even better.

3.9 is above median, 170 is median... I imagine its still tough...

Ya, I just checked my app on LSAC, I have been complete since October... What the heck! (Also I am a couple of points lower than 170, you gotta fudge the numbers a little, you know. for paranoia sake...)
I mean, don't get me wrong. I am happy to go to the University of Chicago. In fact, I LOVE the city of Chicago (the law school is absolutely awesome as well). I really do love it... Ah... the blues...
I'm approaching the five month mark here! AhhhH!!!

If you were wondering, this is when I stopped sympathizing with your wait.
